CPC (Cost per Click)
Cost per click refers to the actual price you pay for each click in your pay-per-click (PPC) marketing campaigns.
CTA (Call to Action)
It’s a marketing term used extensively in advertising and selling. It refers to any device designed to prompt an immediate response or encourage an immediate sale. A CTA most often refers to the use of words or phrases that can be incorporated into sales scripts, advertising messages or web pages that encourage consumers to take prompt action.
It’s a coordinated series of linked advertisements with a single idea or theme. An advertising campaign is typically broadcast through several media channels.
Contest is a promotional scheme in which (unlike in a sweepstake) participants compete for prizes by accomplishing something that requires skill. Although (unlike in a lottery) no fee is charged for participating in a contest, a certain number of proof-of-purchase tokens (such as bottle caps or empty packages) are often required to accompany each entry.
It’s a type of marketing that involves the creation and sharing of online material (such as videos, blogs, and social media posts) that does not explicitly promote a brand but is intended to stimulate interest in its products or services.
A person who writes the text of advertisements or publicity material.
CRM (Customer relationship management)
One of the most famous marketers – Philip Kotler – said that CRM is most probably the most important part of modern marketing. CRM is managing the company’s interaction with all the clients (the one we have already or the potential ones).
We can call it a “completion of an action”. For digital marketers it means a desired action taken by prospects (for example click or sale).
CTR (Click through Rate)
It’s the ratio of users who click on a specific link to the number of total users who view a page, email, or advertisement
Cold call is an unsolicited visit or telephone call made by someone trying to sell goods or services.
CPM (Cost per Mile)
It’s the cost an advertiser pays for one thousand views or clicks of an advertisement.
Consumer is a person who purchases goods and services for personal use.
